Topic: Team Building: Your Organization’s Secret Weapon
Every employer strives to provide a strong, safe and productive work environment for its staff and colleagues. Vinnie Ingallinera’s team building presentation will focus on the physiological and psychological effects that Play, Fun and Competition have on the workforce. As a former Army Drill Sergeant and Intelligence Officer, and now a business owner, his experience with building strong bonds between team members is vast and will share both the “what are effective team building strategies” but also the scientific “why it works”.
The Science of Play
Forms of Play
Vinnie Ingallinera served nearly 21 years in the United States Army and served in a variety of positions and roles throughout his military career. He enlisted and served as a communications interceptor and analyst and developed a love for codebreaking and puzzle solving. As a Non-Commissioned Officer, he trained America’s finest intelligence warriors as a Drill Sergeant; building teams ready to undertake the rigors of war and combat. He deployed multiple times and later was commissioned as an Army Warrant Officer in the Intelligence Corp and subsequently the Cyber Corp. Upon retirement, Vinnie decided to take his love for puzzles, team building and technology and create a game company and team building center.
