Erika Bobbitt is seeking re-election as VP of Administration for the PMI Augusta-Aiken Chapter. Erika has been a member of the Chapter for fifteen years, and during that time has served a variety of other roles in the chapter including President in 2012 and Vice President of Finance from 2008 to 2010. She served on the by-laws subcommittee in 2008 and was the Vice President of Administration for the chapter from 2003 to 2005. In 2009, Erika represented the Chapter at the PMI Global World Congress in Orlando, FL and has spoken during a monthly dinners meeting on managing cultural relationships while on expat assignments in the United Kingdom and China and an inside look at the planning behind providing patient tracking during the 2013 Presidential Inauguration.
Erika has over 20 years of project management and leadership experience covering a variety of industries around the world. She is the Vice President of Operations for GER, a local software development company using AGILE development practices to create software solutions for first responders in local, state, and federal government agencies across the United States. Prior to joining GER, Erika worked at Savannah River Site as a Program Administrator for the Regulatory Integration and Environmental Services Group and as the Director of Worldwide Aftermarket Support and Technical Services for Club Car, Inc.
Erika has held her PMP since 2005. She holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, a Master’s of Science in Management from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management, and a MBA from Tilburg University’s, TiasNimbas Business School in the Netherlands. In addition to PMI, she is activity involved in the community - serving on the Richmond County Friends of the Library Board.
